All Saints' parish church, Girsby, North Yorkshire, seen from the south. The church was built in 1838 at the expense of Henry Collingwood Blackett of Sockburn Hall on the other side of the river. He had ordered the demolition of the original Sockburn church to create a 'romantic ruin' in the grounds of his house, and provided worshippers with this new church instead.
