Church of St Andrew

St Andrew's Church, Bradford Road, Oakenshaw The ecclesiastical parish of Oakenshaw cum Woodlands was created in 1877, with a territory carved out of the neighbouring parishes. At first, a mission room was opened in Woodlands, and then the present church was built and was consecrated on 24 April 1889. It is in the Early English style. The Low Moor Iron Company and the Kaye family were the principal donors.
