St John the Evangelist Church, Langcliffe The tiny chapel (1851) with slender bell-turret and steeply-pitched roof overlooks one of the finest village greens in the north of England village of enormous architectural interest. There are various memorials inside, to the distinguished Dawson family of Langcliffe Hall.
