Former Church of St Mary

St Mary's, Knightwick This Victorian Church has been declared redundant and is now up for sale, no doubt as another house conversion. The church was built and consecrated in 1855 and opened in 1856 as the parish church for the newly merged parish of Knightwick with Doddenham. It replaced the former separate parish churches for Knightwick (also called St Mary's on the site of which https://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/688562 stands today) and Doddenham (St Andrew's, which was subsequently demolished). The church is built with Ankerdine stone (from the hill of the same name immediately to the north of the church) and faced with Bromyard Down stone.
