This mural was drawn by the late Artist Oscar Thomas, and depicts "The African American Historical Flag" which has been coin the "UNITY FLAG" by popular demand. This Unity Flag has the distinction of being the first flag patented by the United States Governments; Patent and Trademark office, Patent registration Number #DES.316,383., as designed by: MR. VINCENT W. PARAMORE of VWP Good Success Industries of Miami Florida. This flag was designed to portray the history of African Americans and has been accepted by many in the African American and Black Community nationwide as their symbol of History and Unity.
