Malmö Castle

About this place
was built between 1526 and 1539 and is the oldest preserved Renaissance castle in the Nordic region. The castle was for five years (1568–1573) the prison of James Hepburn, 4th Earl of Bothwell, third husband of Mary, Queen of Scots.
