National Museum of Decorative Arts

National Museum of Decorative Arts of Spain, at 12 Calle de Montalbán (street, Retiro district) in Madrid. Building was made in the last third of the 19th century as a palace–house for the Duchess of Santoña, and extended in 1909 as a teacher-training school. It was opened as a museum in 1932, and declared an Artistic Historical Monument in 1962.
