St Nicholas Church, Moreton

St Nicholas Church, Moreton The door has the date 1776 to one side. This church suffered some bomb damage during WW2, consequently the windows have been replaced and are of uncoloured glass engraved by Laurence Whistler (see 465486 for a closer view of one of the windows). The funeral of TE Lawrence was held here in 1935. His grave is in the nearby cemetery (see 25435 ). Keywords: tower
